lemoine Point nature walk KingstonAn invitation from MPP Sophie Kiwala: Saturday, April 2 at 10 AM – 11:30 AM

April is Kingston Gets Active (KGA) Month and as part of these initiatives I will be hosting a nature walk along Lemoine Point Conservation Area (meeting point at the north entrance at Rotary Park–Lemoine Point Conservation Area–1441 Coverdale Drive Entrance)

Being physically active is important at any age and studies have proven that those who lead an active lifestyle live longer and are healthier. Throughout the month of April, I will also be participating in KGA’s wellness challenge and working towards walking 10,000 steps a day. Help me get the month started off right by meeting me at Lemoine Point on Saturday!

Find out more about the trail: http://crca.ca/conservation-lands/conservation-areas/lemoine-point-conservation-area/

I will also be giving out a limited quantity of free pedometers and calorie-counting skipping ropes – so please come early! Having a healthy lifestyle is do-able as long as we take it #onestepatatime!

If the weather is not being cooperative, we will reschedule for the following weekend.
