Try Lawn Bowling at Open House

The Kingston Lawn Bowling Club (100 Napier St) is hosting an Open House Sunday and Monday May 17 and 18.  Anyone 10 and up is welcome to come out and try the sport of lawn bowling.  On Sunday from 10 am to noon there is a free pancake breakfast and from 10 am to 3 pm members will be available to provide free instruction on how the game is played.  Then on Monday from 1 to 3 pm free instructions will be provided to any guests by a qualified coach.  More info available on Facebook or web page.

On August 4/5 the Kingston Lawn Bowling Club is hosting the Ontario Provincial Senior Championships.  Begins at 8 am on Tuesday with opening ceremony followed by competition.  Wednesday will see qualifying teams participate in elimination games and ending with the gold/silver medal game.  More info will be posted on Facebook.
