Kingston Gets Active (KGA) is a dedicated non-profit organization working to promote physical activity in Kingston. We also have a ratified club at Queen’s University (KGA Club) which organizes training, continuing education, and social events for KGA Ambassadors. Do you have passion for physical activity and community health promotion? Consider joining our team! A variety of roles are available to match your interests, abilities, and time.
There are two different ways to volunteer with KGA, and you can choose one or both options! If you are interested in motivating local residents to adopt a more physically active lifestyle through delivering presentations, leading exercise breaks, and more, then you can volunteer as a KGA Community Ambassador. Check out the links below to discover more about the position! If you are a Queen’s student, you might be interested in becoming a KGA Club Member (please note: our club is open to all students and community members and there is no fee to join!). As a member of KGA Club, you will have opportunities to take on leadership roles, attend social events, lead education events, and promote KGA and KGA Club on campus and in the community.
