Active living in Kingston Ontario

On the Wall

FINAL CALL FOR ON THE WALL, OUR AMAZING STREET ART EVENT. CELEBRATION OF ARTISTS AND THE ARTS, SAT. AUG 23 FROM 3-8 PM. Douglas R. Fluhrer Park (Go as far north as you can on Wellington St. and you will be there!)

The artwork is truly beyond anything you could imagine. Along with a wonderful line-up for saturday!!

Don’t forget there will be activities for the whole family: poetry, dance, drumming, Open Mic, children’s games, slacklining, tai chi, as well as food and music.

Official start at 3 pm with Mayor Mark Gerretsen cutting a cake and Laurel Claus-Johnson with an Aboriginal tobacco ceremony followed by all sorts of family-friendly arts, sports and games for the rest of the afternoon.

Thanks to very much to everyone who donated to our Indiegogo Campaign: [1] We managed to raise the $6000 we wanted to pay the artists and cover expenses. So very much appreciated!
