The Revved Up program is specifically for healthy community dwelling adults between 18 and 65 years of age, living with a mobility impairment (e.g. spinal cord injury, MS, stroke, amputations, ABI). Participants should be interested in improving physical endurance and strength.
Programs are run at fully equipped and accessible gyms at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital and Queen’s University School of Kinesiology and Health Studies. First two sessions are with a qualified personal trainer and the subsequent sessions are with student volunteers.
Circuit Program
This program is designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities to be paired with a student volunteer after being assessed by a certified personal trainer. The program has seen great results and enthusiasm from the current participants.
