The K&P Trail (former Kingston and Pembroke Railway) ideal for a variety of recreational uses including walking, hiking, cross-country skiing, cycling, horse-back riding. Location Access Points: Sydenham Rd south of Hwy 401, McIvor Rd between Jackson Mills and Sydenham Roads (P -parking lot), Burbrook and Jackson Mills Roads, Bur Brook and Cordukes Roads (P), and Unity Rd between Hwy 38 and Cordukes Rd.(P) Distance: 15 km Features: – Semi-urban and rural trail runs from Little Cataraqui Creek just west of Binnington Court to Orser Road – Open landscape, rock cuts and wetlands – Trail could eventually run from City Hall to Sharbot Lake – Offers a vehicle-free route from the tip of the City to the heart of the country No Motorized vehicles permitted on the trail with the exception of farm vehicles.
