Recreation and Leisure Showcase

Thinking about spring and summer activities for you or your family?   The Recreation and Leisure Showcase has activities for seniors, families, teens, adults and kids. This is a great place to shop and compare programs, watch the ongoing demonstrations, & register for your programs on site. Admission is free. Sign Language Interpreter will be on site from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Drop by the Kingston Gets Active table for a Kingston Gets Active Month calendar of free activities!

Saturday April 2 from 10am – 3pm at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.

Nature Walk with MPP Sophie Kiwala

Also on April 2 from 10-11:30 at lemoine Point, join MPP Sophie Kiwala for a Nature Walk.  (meeting point at the north entrance at Rotary Park).  She will also be giving out a limited quantity of free pedometers and calorie-counting skipping ropes – so please come early!  Rain date:  the following weekend.

Quidditch Canada National Championships

Made famous in Harry Potter, this sport actually exists and is fantastic fun to watch.  Take time to drop by and cheer on your favorite team.  Saturday and Sunday April 2 and 3.
