Getting active in Kingston is easy when you think about all of Kingston’s great features:  our very own Lake Ontario, beautiful city parks, free splash pads, nature trails, cycling paths, an express bus route that lets you get around town without having to drive or park, and more.  We are also lucky to have an incredible Downtown where we can enjoy festivals, events, an afternoon or evening out on the town, all on foot.  What could be a more fun way to get active!

For up to date information on ways to enjoy our downtown, have a look at the Downtown Kingston website.  Currently you will find information about: Movies in the Square every Thursday evening; Princess Street Promenade Aug 5 and Sept 23; Music in the Park throughout the summer; Festivals and other special events; Art After Dark on September 29; Rockin the Square on August 4; and more.

Another great new addition in Downtown Kingston is the Sydenham Street closure every Saturday from 9-4:30 through September 5.  You can enjoy a lovely car-free space with tables, benches, and live music from 1:30-2:30.

Enjoy an active Kingston summer!
